Electrical safety device for water supply (anti-flood system): The electrical safety device for water supply is an electric component intended for flood prevention in case of failure; destined to dishwashers and washing machines. The product consists of a normally closed solenoid valve, a threaded ring nut connecting the water system, electrically insulated protective cover (IP67 - EN60529), an internal hose (water inlet hose), a corrugated external hose (safety hose) and an electrical connection cable. In case of water loss from the inlet hose, the water spillage is collected by the external corrugated hose and the conduit to the collector in the bottom of the household appliance where a sensor detects excess water and sends to the appliance’s control card a signal to close the inlet valve of the anti-flood system (eliminating any flood) and applying further safety strategies (e.g. by activating an outlet pump).

Connection to household appliance: Internal hose connection (dishwasher) for hose holder, diameter 11mm (internal hose diameter 10 mm); Internal hose diameter (washing machines) with threaded nut ¾ GAS for fixing on the inlet valve at the household appliance (plastic fixing clamp on the client’s special request)
Electrical connection to household appliance: Faston male connector 6.3x0.8mm or Rast2.5 connection (other connectors on request).
